Rochelle Cross, a PJEA student studying at Buckinghamshire College Group, has put into practise Peter Jones’ ambition for the course to ‘make entrepreneurs’ through ‘learning by doing’, by launching her own fitness business start-up this month.
Vinyl Fitness Club combines a love of music and dance with socialising to keep fit. It’s something people have been doing for years and years but Rochelle’s approach is different and if you love dancing then this will promote fitness and exercise while you strut your stuff.
“My idea is to bring together people from different backgrounds of all shapes and sizes where they can throw away their inhibitions, boost their self-esteem and have fun whilst getting fit,” said Rochelle.
Part of Rochelle’s business idea includes the sale of LED-equipped footwear to enhance the dance experience even further.
Evening classes start in February around Chesham and further information can be obtained by emailing vinylfitness@gmail.com. For regular updates follow the Facebook page @vinyl fitness.
